- For studies in London, an international student must show GBP 1,483 per month and If a student is staying outside London, the amount one needs to prove they have is GBP 1,136 per month for a duration of 9 months.
- Therefore for students planning to study in London for nine months or more, the total amount they need to show in their savings is now GBP 13,348. The fund show for outside London is now GBP 10,224.
- Previously, these amounts were GBP 1,334 per month for London and GBP 1,023 for other parts of the UK.
- Therefore students applying for student visa for UK from January 2, 2025 onwards have to show increased funds as announced & must be at least 28 days old in the student account or in the accounts of parents.
