Entry Requirements:
      • Minimum 60% in 12th standard with Mathematics as a mandatory subject
      • IELTS- 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (some programs may require higher IELTS of over all 6.5)

Sweden Student’s Visa Procedure
  1. Once a student has paid the tuition fees, we need to apply online through the portal of The Swedish Migration Agency for visa on the link below – https://www.migrationsverket.se/English/Private-individuals/Studying-in-Sweden.html
  2. The student needs to create an account and complete the online visa application form.
  3. Once the visa application is complete the following documents must be uploaded online:
    • Copy of first and last page of passport.
    • A completed questionnaire (Form 105031W_A for a first-time applicant)
    • A written consent from parents/custodian if student is under 18 years of age (Form 123011) Decision Letter (Offer Letter) and Acceptance Letter from the University in Sweden.
    • Payment receipt of the initial tuition fees deposit.
    • Financial Documents Swedish Institutions would be providing health insurance cover which is specified in the Offer letter and included in the fees. However, the student should purchase health insurance for the period of travel and up to the point of enrolment at the institution in Sweden.
    • After successfully completing the above the student can pay the visa fees of SEK 1500 with a Debit/Credit card online.
Financial Documents:
  1. The applicant should be able to show living expenses amount of SEK 1,23,768 per year (EUR 11,000). Living expenses for whole course duration must be shown.
  2. The student has to show funds in his/her savings account only. Sponsorship is not allowed. However, loans disbursed into the student’s savings account may be considered.
  3. Bank balance certificate and statements of savings account of the last three months. The balance certificate should be on the Letter head of the bank with the phone number and email address, for the embassy to verify the details.
  4. 4 months bank statement is mandatory.
  5. The funds should not be withdrawn till the visa decision is made.
  6. Recent funds are acceptable in Sweden.

Note:

  1. Please check for any holidays during these days before visiting the Embassy.
  2. The student has to carry the Passport and all documents in original for verification. Biometrics (fingerprints) and a brief interview will be taken at the Embassy.
  3. Visa decision will be received in one to three months and the Residence Card is usually delivered directly to the student’s mailing address.
